“When you go into battle in your own land against an enemy who is oppressing you, sound a blast on the trumpets. Then you will be remembered by the Lord your God and rescued from your enemies.”
Numbers 10:9
Today’s Word
God gave the Israelites a divine strategy: when under attack, they were to sound the trumpet—not just as a signal to people, but as a cry to heaven. That blast wasn’t just noise; it was an act of faith, calling on the God who delivers.
When we face battles—whether in our minds, relationships, or circumstances—we too can “sound the trumpet” through prayer and praise. God doesn’t forget His people. He hears, He remembers, and He rescues.
Prayer
Lord, when I feel under attack, remind me to lift my voice to You. Let my prayers rise like a trumpet blast—loud, honest, and full of faith. Thank You for being a God who hears and saves. I trust in Your power to deliver. Amen.
