Love That Lasts! February 14, 2026

“Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud.”

1 Corinthians 13:4

Today’s Word

Valentine’s Day often reminds us of love—the kind celebrated with flowers, chocolates, and sweet messages. But God calls us to a love that goes beyond gestures and feelings. True love is patient, kind, and enduring. It is a choice to forgive, to give selflessly, and to put others before ourselves.

This love doesn’t envy or boast, it doesn’t seek its own way, and it doesn’t keep a record of wrongs. It is a love that perseveres through challenges, celebrates the successes of others, and reflects the heart of God in every interaction.

As you spend today with loved ones, reflect on how God’s love can guide your words and actions. Show patience when it’s hard, offer kindness when it’s unexpected, and let your heart be a mirror of His unconditional love. Remember, the greatest love begins with Him and flows through us to those around us.

Prayer

Lord, teach me to love as You love—fully, patiently, and unconditionally. Let my heart reflect Your kindness and my actions show Your grace. Help me to extend this love to everyone I meet, today and every day. Amen.
