Stop the "What-Ifs" August 26, 2026

“Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or discouraged, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.”

Today’s Word

There are days when the path ahead feels uncertain. Responsibilities pile up, decisions seem overwhelming, and fear quietly whispers, "What if things don't work out?" In moments like these, God reminds us that courage is not the absence of fear—it is trusting Him despite it.

When God spoke these words to Joshua, He was calling him to lead His people into unfamiliar territory. Joshua did not have all the answers, but he had God's promise: "I am with you." That same promise is available to us today.

Whatever challenges you face, you do not walk alone. God goes before you, stands beside you, and remains faithful through every step. Instead of focusing on the size of the obstacle, focus on the greatness of the One who is with you.

Today, choose faith over fear. Trust that God is already working in places you cannot yet see.

Prayer

Lord, thank You for Your constant presence in my life. When I feel uncertain or afraid, remind me that You are with me wherever I go. Strengthen my heart to trust You completely today. In Jesus' name, Amen.
