Today’s Word

Notice the active choice in this verse: "I will say of the Lord." Fear loves to speak to us in whispers, telling us worst-case scenarios and worst-case outcomes. If we stay silent, those whispers take over. Faith requires us to speak back. Today is a day to open your mouth and declare who your God is. When anxiety tells you that you won't make it, you must tell yourself that God is your refuge. Your words have the power to shift your perspective. Don't just think about your faith today—declare it.

Prayer

Lord, I refuse to let fear have the final say in my life today. I choose to declare Your goodness and Your power. You are my refuge, You are my God, and I trust You with everything I have. Amen.
