“Scripture foresaw that God would justify the Gentiles by faith, and announced the gospel in advance to Abraham: ‘All nations will be blessed through you.”
Galatians 3:8
Today’s Word
Long before the law, before rituals or rules, God had already written a story of grace. Galatians 3:8 reminds us that the gospel was never an afterthought—it was God’s plan from the very beginning. Through Abraham, God declared that His blessing would reach all nations, not by works, but by faith.
This verse tells us something deeply personal: we were always included. God saw us, generations ahead, and made a way for us to belong. Faith—not perfection, background, or status—is what draws us into His promise.
When we struggle with feeling “enough” or question whether we truly belong, this truth anchors us. Our place in God’s family is not earned; it is received. The same God who spoke blessing over Abraham speaks blessing over us today.
To live by faith is to trust that God keeps His promises—across time, cultures, and circumstances. We are part of a much bigger story, one where grace reaches farther than we can imagine.
Prayer
Father God, thank You for a promise that began long before me and still covers my life today. Thank You that by faith, I am included in Your blessing and Your plan. Help me trust Your grace and walk confidently in the truth that I belong to You. Amen.
