“I will be like the dew to Israel; he will blossom like a lily. Like a cedar of Lebanon he will send down his roots.”
Hosea 14:5
Today’s Word
God’s work in your life is often gentle, like the morning dew. Not loud, not rushed, but intentional and nourishing. While you may long for grand miracles, He is tenderly watering your soul each day—strengthening your spirit, healing unseen wounds, and growing you in places even you can’t see yet. His grace seeps into the dry places of your heart, reviving what felt lifeless, and slowly, surely, you begin to blossom. Not every season is about movement. Some are about rooting. And even when you feel hidden, trust that God is still working in you. Your roots are going deeper, your foundation is being made strong—for beauty and fruitfulness will come in His perfect time.
Prayer
Lord, thank You for working in the unseen places of my life. Even when I don’t feel it, I know You are near—softly restoring, quietly strengthening, lovingly preparing me for more. Help me to be patient in this season of quiet growth. Let me not despise small beginnings or slow progress, for I trust that You are deepening my roots and teaching me to depend on You. May I blossom in Your time, bearing fruit that glorifies You. Amen.
