“He that handleth a matter wisely shall find good: and whoso trusteth in the Lord, happy is he.”

Proverbs 16:20

Today’s Word

Handling a matter wisely doesn't mean we always have all the answers. It means we choose to pause, pray, seek God's direction, and respond with faith instead of fear. Wisdom is not merely knowledge, it is applying God's truth to our everyday lives.

The second half of this verse reveals a beautiful promise: "Who so trusteth in the Lord, happy is he." Lasting joy is not found in perfect circumstances but in the confidence that God is faithful. Even when the path ahead seems uncertain, we can rest knowing that the One who leads us never makes a mistake.

Today, choose wisdom over impulse, faith over worry, and trust over fear. As you place every concern into God's hands, His peace will guard your heart, and His goodness will become evident in your life.

Prayer

Father, I choose to trust You with every situation, knowing that Your plans are always good. Fill my heart with the joy and peace that come from depending on You. Lead my steps, direct my thoughts, and help me reflect Your wisdom in all that I do.
