Where God Dwells! January 27, 2026

“Do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own.”

1 Corinthians 6:19

Today’s Word

Your body is not an accident, a burden, or something to constantly criticize—it is a dwelling place of God’s Spirit. The Lord chose you as His home. Every breath, every heartbeat, every part of you carries sacred purpose.

Caring for your body is not vanity; it is worship. Honoring it is not selfishness; it is stewardship. Even in moments when you feel weak, tired, or dissatisfied, God remains present within you—patient, gentle, and faithful.

You are not called to harm what God calls holy. What He inhabits, He values deeply.

Treat yourself with the reverence God already has for you.

You are His temple. Walk accordingly.

Prayer

Lord, thank You for making my body a dwelling place for Your Spirit. Help me to see myself through Your eyes and to honor You in how I care for my body, my mind, and my soul. Teach me to walk in gratitude, discipline, and grace. I choose to honor what You call holy. Amen.
