Walking Under His Protection! June 8, 2026

“He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.”

Today’s Word

As you step into a new week, remember that God's protection is not something you have to earn—it is part of your covenant with Him. He has not left His children vulnerable to the dangers, uncertainties, and pressures of this world. He has provided a place of safety in His presence.

Psalm 91 doesn't describe a believer who occasionally visits God's presence; it describes one who dwells there. When we make fellowship with God a priority, our hearts become established in His faithfulness. Fear loses its grip because we know we are not facing life alone.

The enemy wants believers to become occupied with what could happen. Faith, however, is occupied with what God has promised. God's Word declares that He is our refuge, our fortress, and our shield. His protection is greater than any threat, obstacle, or circumstance that may arise.

This week, don't start your day focused on the news, the challenges ahead, or the uncertainties around you. Start your day acknowledging God's presence and declaring His promises over your life and family. As you do, your heart will remain at rest, confident that the One who watches over you never sleeps and never fails.

You are not walking into this week by yourself. God goes before you, walks beside you, and surrounds you with His protection.

Prayer

Father, I thank You that You are my refuge and my fortress. I choose to dwell in Your presence and place my trust in Your faithfulness. I declare that Your protection surrounds me, my family, and all that concerns me. Thank You for keeping me safe, guiding my steps, and helping me walk in peace and confidence this week. In Jesus' Name, Amen.
