Walking in God’s Favor! October 1, 2025

“She caught him by his cloak and said, ‘Come to bed with me!’ But he left his cloak in her hand and ran out of the house.”

Today’s Word

Joseph’s response in this moment is a powerful reminder of the importance of fleeing from temptation. He did not try to reason with sin or linger near it—he ran. Sometimes victory is not found in standing still but in choosing to remove ourselves completely from situations that compromise our integrity and faith.

The enemy often uses subtle enticements to pull us away from God’s purpose. But like Joseph, we are called to guard our character and remain faithful, even when no one else sees. God honors those who choose obedience over momentary pleasure, and He turns those decisions into seeds of blessing and favor.

Prayer

Heavenly Father, thank You for giving me strength to resist temptation. Help me to recognize the traps of the enemy and give me the courage to run from anything that pulls me away from You. Keep my heart pure and my life faithful, so I may honor You in all I do. Amen.
