Today’s Word

There is a natural desire in all of us to control outcomes—to predict what will happen, to secure our future, and to avoid uncertainty. But this desire often leads to stress, fear, and disappointment when things don’t go according to plan. Surrender is not about losing—it’s about trusting.

When you surrender your plans to God, you acknowledge that He sees what you cannot. He understands the full picture of your life—past, present, and future—and works all things together with purpose. Letting go of control doesn’t mean you stop making decisions or setting goals; it means you release the outcome into God’s hands.

True peace comes when you stop striving to manage everything yourself and instead lean into God’s wisdom. His plans are not only greater but also more aligned with who you are meant to become. Trusting Him requires humility, but it also brings freedom—the freedom from carrying burdens you were never meant to hold.
