“But those who wait on the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles, they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint.”
Galatians 1:10
Today’s Word
Waiting can feel heavy. It can feel like nothing is happening, like prayers are unanswered, or like life is moving everywhere except where you want it to go.
But God is not absent in the waiting—He is working in it.
Sometimes, the delay is not a denial but preparation. While you are waiting, God is strengthening your heart, shaping your character, and aligning things in ways you cannot yet see. The waiting season is not wasted time—it is sacred ground.
Think about it: eagles don’t flap endlessly—they soar by catching the wind. In the same way, when we wait on the Lord, we stop striving in our own strength and begin to rise in His.
If you feel tired today—emotionally, spiritually, even physically—this is your reminder: you don’t have to carry everything on your own. God renews. God restores. God lifts.
