True Security in God! November 1, 2025

“Tyre has built herself a stronghold; she has heaped up silver like dust, and gold like the dirt of the streets.”

Zechariah 9:3

Today’s Word

This verse warns us against placing our confidence in earthly strength or wealth. Tyre’s riches seemed unshakable, yet worldly treasures cannot withstand the power of God. Our true foundation is not in what we have but in who we trust. When our hearts are anchored in Him, we find a security that money, status, or success can never provide.

Prayer

Father, teach me to rely on You above all else. Help me not to seek comfort in possessions or power, but to find my peace and strength in Your presence. Let my heart treasure the eternal over the temporary. Amen.
