The Power of Patience March 31, 2025

"Be still before the Lord and wait patiently for him."

Psalm 37:7

Today's Word

Patience can be one of the hardest virtues to practice. But this verse reminds us that God asks us to be still and wait for His perfect timing. Our world moves fast, and it’s easy to get anxious about the future. But patience is a quiet trust that God is in control, and His plans are always better than our own.

Waiting on God doesn’t mean passivity; it means trusting that He is working even when we don’t see it. Just like a seed grows in the soil unseen, God is nurturing our lives in ways that are invisible but meaningful.

Prayer

Lord, help me to be still in Your presence and wait patiently for Your direction. Teach me to trust that Your timing is perfect and that You are always working for my good. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
