The Power of Honest Prayer! June 11, 2025

"Is anyone among you sick? Let them call the elders of the church to pray over them and anoint them with oil in the name of the Lord. And the prayer offered in faith will make the sick person well; the Lord will raise them up. If they have sinned, they will be forgiven.  Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective."

James 5:14-16

Today’s Word

When you call on others to pray with you, you are activating faith. God honors humble hearts that seek help and healing. Don’t let pride or fear keep you in silence. Healing flows where the truth is spoken and where prayer is lifted up in faith. Your breakthrough could be on the other side of a single honest prayer with someone who believes. God works through others to raise you up. God helps through the prayer of the faithful. God restores when we confess, surrender, and trust. Believe and you will see!

Prayer

Lord, help me to be honest about my struggles. Give me the courage to ask for prayer and surround me with people of faith. Teach me to trust You fully as I surrender my fears and pride. Thank You for Your healing, restoration, and grace. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
