Reverence in Revelation! October 9, 2025

“As he came near the place where I was standing, I was terrified and fell prostrate. ‘Son of man,’ he said to me, ‘understand that the vision concerns the time of the end.’”

Today’s Word

When Daniel encountered the angel and heard the message about the vision, he was overwhelmed by awe and reverence. This moment reminds us that God’s revelations are holy and purposeful—they are not meant to frighten us, but to prepare us. God reveals His plans and truths so His people can walk in discernment, humility, and readiness.

There are times when what God shows us may seem beyond our understanding, but His Spirit brings clarity in His perfect timing. Just as Daniel was told to “understand,” we too are called to seek wisdom—not to predict every detail, but to grow deeper in faith and awareness of God’s unfolding work in our lives and in the world.

When God reveals something weighty, it’s an invitation to draw closer, to listen, and to trust His sovereignty even when we don’t have all the answers.

Prayer

Lord, thank You for revealing Your truth in ways that draw me nearer to You. When I face things I don’t fully understand, give me wisdom, peace, and reverence for Your will. Help me to trust Your timing and remain steadfast in faith as You unfold Your plans. Amen.
