Purpose in Every Place! November 10, 2025

“These are the names of the sons of Israel who went to Egypt with Jacob, each with his family.”

Exodus 1:1

Today’s Word

This verse marks the beginning of Israel’s journey in Egypt—a place that would later become both their home and their hardship. It’s a reminder that sometimes God allows transitions into unfamiliar places to fulfill a greater plan. What begins as a simple relocation can be the seed of a divine story unfolding.

Even when the surroundings seem foreign or uncertain, God’s purpose is already at work. The people of Israel didn’t just go to Egypt by chance—they were positioned there for a future deliverance that would reveal God’s power and faithfulness.

So when you find yourself in a “new Egypt”—a season of change or discomfort—trust that it may be the starting point of something greater.

Prayer

Heavenly Father,Thank You for reminding me that every transition has a purpose. Even when I find myself in unfamiliar places or seasons, help me trust that You are already at work. Give me faith to see beyond discomfort and patience to wait for Your plan to unfold.May I walk with confidence, knowing that where You lead, You also provide. In Jesus’ name, amen.
