Today’s Word

In Zechariah’s vision, the flying scroll represents God’s Word moving swiftly to bring truth, correction, and restoration. It reminds us that God sees everything—nothing escapes His sight. His Word doesn’t just comfort; it also purifies, exposing what needs to change so that His people can live in righteousness.

When God reveals something in our lives that needs correction, it isn’t to condemn us—it’s to cleanse us and draw us nearer to Him. Just as the scroll went out to remove falsehood and dishonesty, His Word today still works within us to cleanse hearts and restore integrity.

Instead of fearing conviction, we can thank God for it. Every time He corrects us, He’s preparing us for greater blessing and deeper relationship with Him.

Prayer

Lord, thank You for Your Word that brings both comfort and correction. Help me to welcome Your truth, even when it challenges me. Purify my heart, align my ways with Yours, and let my life reflect Your righteousness. Amen.
