Just Trust! April 16, 2026

“Wait for the Lord; be strong and take heart and wait for the Lord.”

Today’s Word

Waiting is one of the hardest things we’re asked to do. Whether it’s waiting for answers, direction, healing, or change, it can feel uncomfortable and uncertain. We often want quick solutions, clear signs, and immediate results—but God works in ways that don’t always match our timing.

This verse reminds us that waiting is not passive. It takes strength to trust God when nothing seems to be happening. It takes courage to believe that He is still working behind the scenes, even when we can’t see it.

Sometimes, the waiting season is where God prepares our hearts. He builds patience, deepens our faith, and teaches us to rely on Him instead of our own understanding. What feels like a delay may actually be His way of aligning things perfectly.

Today, instead of resisting the waiting, lean into it. Trust that God sees the bigger picture and that His timing is always right.

Prayer

Lord, help me to trust You in the waiting. When I feel anxious or unsure, remind me that You are in control. Give me strength to be patient and peace to rest in Your timing. Amen.
