“Though you have not seen him, you love him; and even though you do not see him now, you believe in him and are filled with an inexpressible and glorious joy,for you are receiving the end result of your faith, the salvation of your souls.”
1 Peter 1:8–9
Today’s Word
There’s a joy that runs deeper than circumstance—a joy that doesn’t rely on what your eyes can see. 1 Peter 1:8–9 speaks of a love and faith that transcend the physical. Even though we haven’t seen Jesus face to face, we believe. And that belief stirs within us a joy so rich and radiant that words can’t fully capture it.
This kind of joy doesn’t come from achievements or perfect days—it comes from relationship. It comes from knowing you are deeply loved, fully seen, and eternally saved. You’re not walking through life alone; you’re walking hand in hand with the One who gave His life for you.
You may be in a season where God feels distant. But your faith, even in the unseen, is bearing fruit. You are receiving the most beautiful promise: salvation, wholeness, and hope that lasts.
So hold onto your faith with a joyful heart. There’s more happening than meets the eye. And the One you love—though unseen—is closer than you think.
Prayer
Lord, thank You for the joy that rises up within me even when I can’t see everything clearly. I believe in You, I trust You, and I love You. Even in the unseen, I know You’re near. Help me to walk each day with this unshakable joy, knowing that my faith is leading me to Your perfect promise. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
