“Yes, my soul, find rest in God; my hope comes from Him.”

Psalm 62:5

Today’s Word

Sometimes faith means preaching truth to ourselves when our emotions are unsettled. We may not control every situation, but we can choose where we place our hope.

God's rest is the assurance of His presence. Even when prayers seem unanswered, or the path ahead is unclear, our hope remains secure because it rests in the unchanging character of God. He is faithful yesterday, today, and forever.

Prayer

Father, thank you for being the source of my peace and my hope. When my heart becomes anxious, and my mind is overwhelmed, teach my soul to rest in You alone. Help me to trust Your timing, rely on Your strength, and remember that You are always faithful.

Replace my worry with confidence, my fear with faith, and my striving with quiet trust. May my hope never be built on changing circumstances, but on Your unfailing love and promises. Today, I choose to rest in You, knowing You are working all things for my good and Your glory. In Jesus' name, Amen.
