“For we do not have a high priest who is unable to empathize with our weaknesses, but we have one who has been tempted in every way, just as we are—yet He did not sin.”

Today’s Word

This verse reveals the tender heart of Jesus, our High Priest, who fully understands our struggles. He is not distant or indifferent to our pain—He walked through temptation, sorrow, and suffering Himself. Because of this, we can come to Him with confidence, knowing He truly understands what we face. His empathy is not mere sympathy—it’s born from experience. When we feel weak or ashamed, He meets us with grace, reminding us that His strength is made perfect in our weakness

Prayer

Lord Jesus, thank You for being my compassionate High Priest. Thank You for understanding my weaknesses and for standing by me in every struggle. Help me draw near to You with confidence, trusting in Your mercy and grace. Strengthen me to walk faithfully, knowing that You are with me and that You understand. Amen.
