“My flesh and my heart may fail, but God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever.”
Psalm 73:26
Today’s Word
Sundays are a gentle reminder that even when we feel worn out from the week behind us, God remains the steady strength of our hearts. We don’t enter a new week relying on our own ability—our energy, motivation, or emotions may rise and fall—but God does not.
This verse tells us that even when our human strength fails, God becomes the strength we need. He fills the places where we feel empty. He carries what we can’t carry. He sustains us not just for a day, but forever.
As you step into a new week, you don’t go alone. God goes before you, walks beside you, and strengthens you within. He is your portion—your source, your peace, your stability—no matter what the upcoming days hold.
Prayer
Lord, thank You for being my strength when I feel weak and my portion when everything else feels uncertain. As I begin this new week, fill me with Your peace, renew my heart, and guide every step I take. Help me rely not on my own strength, but on Your unfailing presence. Amen.
