“The disciples were even more amazed, and said to each other, ‘Who then can be saved?”
Mark 10:26
Today’s Word
Mark 10:26 captures the disciples’ honest fear and confusion—moments when God’s standards feel impossible to reach. As the year comes to an end, we often reflect on our shortcomings, unmet goals, and prayers that still feel unanswered.
Yet this verse leads us to hope. What feels impossible to us is never impossible for God. He moves beyond our limitations, heals what seems broken, and redeems what we thought was lost. As this year closes, we are reminded that God is still able—and still working.
Prayer
Lord, as I stand at the end of this year, I bring You everything I could not fix, change, or accomplish. I confess my doubts, my fears, and the moments I felt overwhelmed by my own limitations. Remind me that You are not limited by my weakness. Renew my faith and help me trust You with what feels impossible in my life. As I release this year into Your hands, fill my heart with hope, peace, and confidence in Your power. I choose to believe that You are able to do more than I could ever imagine. Amen.
