Faith That Brings Restoration! September 17, 2025

"Just then a woman who had been subject to bleeding for twelve years came up behind him and touched the edge of his cloak. She said to herself, 'If I only touch his cloak, I will be healed.' Jesus turned and saw her. 'Take heart, daughter,' he said, 'your faith has healed you.' And the woman was healed at that moment."

Today’s Word

This passage reminds us of the power of faith and persistence. The woman carried her burden for twelve years—years of pain, isolation, and hopelessness. Yet in one act of bold faith, reaching for the hem of Jesus’ garment, everything changed.

Sometimes, all it takes is one step of faith toward Jesus. Your situation may feel impossible, but God honors those who reach out to Him in trust. He sees your struggles, He hears your silent prayers, and His response is full of compassion: “Take heart, son/daughter. Your faith has made you well.”

Your healing, breakthrough, or answer may not come instantly, but never underestimate the power of drawing close to Him. Faith, even as small as a touch, can bring life-changing transformation when placed in the hands of Jesus.

Prayer

Father, thank You that in every need, I can reach out to You in faith. Help me to press past fear, doubt, and discouragement, and to believe that You are able to heal, restore, and provide. Thank You for calling me Your child and reminding me that faith in You changes everything. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
