Today’s Word

God’s Word gives us something earthly riches never can. Money may provide comfort, but it cannot give peace to a troubled heart. Success may bring recognition, but it cannot give lasting purpose. Possessions may surround us with beautiful things, but they cannot guide us through the difficult places of life.

Today, ask yourself: What do I treasure most? What occupies my thoughts, time, and attention? May we learn to value God’s Word not merely as something we read, but as something we live by.

When His truth becomes our treasure, obedience becomes an expression of love rather than an obligation.

Prayer

Lord, teach me to treasure Your Word above the things of this world. Give me a heart that delights in Your ways and finds joy in following You. When I am tempted to seek fulfillment in temporary things, remind me that Your truth is a treasure that never fades. Help me to trust Your guidance, obey Your commands, and walk faithfully with You each day. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
