The One Mediator! August 3, 2026

“For there is one God and one mediator between God and mankind, the man Christ Jesus.”

1 Timothy 2:5

Today’s Word

Jesus is enough. Because of sin, humanity was separated from a holy God. But God, in His great love, sent His Son, Jesus Christ, to bridge that gap once and for all. Through His death and resurrection, Jesus made a way for us to come boldly into the Father's presence.

We don't need to carry the burden of trying to make ourselves acceptable to God. We don't have to wonder if we've done enough or if we're worthy enough. Jesus has already done what we never could. He stands as our faithful Mediator, offering grace instead of condemnation, mercy instead of judgment, and hope instead of despair. Whatever you're facing, you have direct access to the Father through Jesus. Bring Him your fears, your failures, your dreams, and your gratitude. He hears you, He understands you, and He faithfully intercedes for you.

The invitation today is simple: draw near to God with confidence, knowing that Jesus has already opened the way.

Prayer

Father, help me to stop relying on my own efforts and to trust completely in the finished work of Christ. When I feel unworthy or distant, remind me that Jesus has already made a way for me to be close to You, Amen.
