A Strong Start with God! July 17, 2026

“But I will sing of your strength, in the morning I will sing of your love; for you are my fortress, my refuge in times of trouble.”

Today’s Word

True strength is not found in the absence of trouble, but in where we run when trouble arrives. David chose to start his day by anchoring his heart in God’s character rather than his own circumstances. By making a conscious decision to "sing" to intentionally focus on God's love and power, he transformed his perspective. You can do the same. Today, choose to start your morning by acknowledging that you are not facing your day alone; you are standing within the safety of your fortress.

Prayer

Lord, thank You for being my refuge and my strength. As I step into this day, I choose to focus on Your love for me. When challenges arise, help me to remember that I am protected by You. Keep my heart centered on Your peace and my mind anchored in Your promises. Amen.
